Off Topic Generalities

I'm finally finished with all Violin auditions until next spring! I don't have to prepare any solos, nor any scales, AND no excerpts. :{D

Life is wonderful.

On a less happy note, though not to bad, I'm planning on doing school over the summer so that I don't have to stress about finishing highschool next year. Luckily I only have Physics, British Lit, the end of Algebra II, and a bunch of really short easy classes left, so that's really awesome.

My life is sort of on hold at them moment, ha. And not *really* in a funny way. Stuck in this apartment while my father looks for an apartment in Germany for us. Not too bad, but the whole uncertainty/stress of wondering how much it'll cost to send what we're taking... is the bad part.
And I'm stressing about some heart/blood tests I have to take before we leave...

Ew, stomach pains, Zip - was having some of those myself a few days back, though not *too bad*, so no hospital for me, thank goodness.

Argh, heart and blood tests -_- Not fun. My own heart has been pumping mostly normally for the last few months, so it seems my aortic valve repair was a success after all. There seemed to be a minor complication, but it evened out. Hope your tests go well!

Violins are cool. They're like tiny cellos! I wish I'd learned an instrument, but stupid Younger Nayab didn't want to learn one. Now Older Nayab wants to write a letter to Younger Nayab telling him to learn an instrument, but letters to yourself don't work that way... Younger Nayab did write a letter to Older Nayab though, and Older Nayab was appalled by Younger Nayab's horrible penmanship. Not that Older Nayab's penmanship is much of an improvement.

Thanks. Nope, not fun at all. I've been taking my pulse just to see if I can feel any fastness/irregularities when I'm not nervous, etc... and I haven't so fingers crossed it all goes smoothly (and that I'm not totally nervous there, causing my heart to race and therefore messing, perhaps, with the test). I'm glad yours is fine, though!

I love violins, too, and wanted to learn (we have a sort of old one, so all I'd need is a teacher), but my father forbade me to use the one we have, and now he's given it to me anyway, so maybe now I can either get a teacher sometime, or teach myself. LOL at the letter writing. xD I can say the same about my, and my younger self's penmanships.

Oh! You did! Sorry, it must have escaped my mind. I've been to Germany once myself. However, I didn't actually step on German soil... I stayed overnight at the airport's hotel. School trip, tenth grade, couldn't even leave the hotel since we didn't fill in custom's sheets.

But I've still technically been to Germany!

I think I'd like to learn the cello myself. It's a wonderful sounding instrument.

I myself have never been to Germany. I hope to go someday(in the very far future, most likely).

I actually really want to learn the Cello as well, but I don't want it to screw up my Violin technique, so I'm holding off until later in life. I did start learning the Viola(which actually can be used as a tiny Cello), though, which is so similar to the Violin that almost all the technique is the same. It's also, like, twice the size of my Violin, which always amuses me.

Got on facebook to see if MG still existed, found something better.

Meteor Games does, in fact, no longer exist. I believe they went bankrupt in December, and petered out sometime in January. Island Paradise survived for a while longer, but it's since vanished as well.

Several of the ex Meteor Games employees work at Playsaurus now. I like their new Facebook game, but I haven't really played much in a while. I guess flash games don't hold my attention for very long. (Especially when I could be playing Skyrim or The Old Republic xD).

I noticed that, will blame the fact that they never got around to making Twin Skies and deleted VPN. Serf Wars was ok, but those are the two I liked.

Also, you cannot combine Vikings, Pirates, and Ninjas and get anything less than awesome.

Overlord is a nice title. Also, unlike my actual title, it doesn't make your spleen attempt to strangle your brain in a desperate attempt to not blink out o existence.

I can certainly attempt to dredge up Nayaby's from the depths of time. Wouldn't hold out hope, said depths are pretty... deep.

But you do finally have an avatar at least. You went the longest time without one! It was irksome, on some very tiny level. But the bunny has returned :O

I think it's hilarious that I'm equated with the look of a bunny on here. But I do love bunnies. It was very nice of Draco to find me my old avatar first thing. Obviously something is wrong if I don't have it-so wrong it even makes our evil overlord do something nice.

Ahaha. I like all of them, except now I really want to write a story about someone named Senator Lovely-Ears.

Oddly enough, I think I've already come up with some backstory for Senator Lovely-Ears.

The setting is a fantasy world with three nations, Animalia (home of the Enlightened Beasts), Draconia (home of the Dragons), and Humanity (home of the humans).

I'm writing this O_O

Senator Lovely-Ears is an Enlightened Rabbit, of course. Maybe she'll ride a dragon.
