Re: Random happiness
Well...yes...that's when school ends....doesn't it? I mean, I'll have to go back mid-January, but still...it's an end because I'll never have to take these classes again and stuff...
My reasoning makes sense, I swear...

Re: Random happiness
We must appease the Mayan gods? I'll get the human sacrifice...
In other news: there seems to be somebody playing the ukulele and singing Mandarin (I think...?) songs upstairs. I can hear him through my air vent.
He's of little off key :/

Noooow you tell me! Probably shouldn't have made that human sacrifice...

Never again! Join the Society for Prevention of Overwhelming Ukelele Treachery for penance.
And, also, 'cause they need recruits for the war on Oboes.

Re: Random happiness
Someone performed a human sacrifice and didn't invite me?
This calls for more human sacrifice.

Re: Random happiness
Draco, this sacrifice was to stay off the Mayan Apocalypse and the end of the world.
I'm sure you were included in the list of deities it was directed at.

Re: Random happiness
I think that Draco is a unique deity that prefers to be the one performing the sacrifice, just because that's more interesting than waiting around for people to pay bloody homage.

RECIPES!
WATER TRIBE NOODLES!
I COULD ACTUALLY MAKE THESE!
*is going to buy the ingredients on the weekend*
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7gjHSqwjjY&feature=share
Best channel ever. Includes Fish Fingers and Custard, Lembas Bread, and Skyrim's Sweet Rolls (be careful or somebody will steal them!)

Re: Random happiness
It looks awesome! The channel! The only problem is that I already know what Lembas bread tastes like, so I have to take issue with their recipe. But the rest of it = awesome!
Re: Random happiness
But Poffins! And Sea-Salt Ice-Cream!
Of course, they don't use berries to make the poffins either, which is necessary for them! But they use jam, which works I suppose.
NERD RECIPES FOR THE WIN!
What's wrong with the lembas bread recipe by the way?
Edit: Never mind. I just watched it. Bacon? Um... right...
Edit 2: Ahahaha! At the end of the sweet roll episode he entered the cheat code to make it rain sweet rolls! I have the PC version, so I could do that... Hmmm... I've never made it rain sweet rolls before.

Re: Random happiness
Lembas bread is like a pizzelle. Italian waffle cookies made of sugar, butter, eggs, flour, and some anise and vanilla. NOMS
I swear, this is what it tastes like. Long ago, when I was young, I had a taste memory associated with lembas bread. When I was older, I realized that it was that of The Pizzelle, a beloved christmas cookie in my family. MY WEIRD BRAIN UNCONSCIOUSLY DEEMED THAT THERE IS A CONNECTION.
I love the rest of the channel, though!

Re: Random happiness
That is hilarious. xD
My Chemistry professor gives us bonus 'points' for spotting grammar and spelling mistakes in the assignments she hands out (among other things). They don't exactly increase our grade, but if we get enough she will bump us up one grade at the end of the semester if we need it. It's her way of rewarding us for paying attention xD

Re: Random happiness
It just occurred to me that the world record for singing the Song That Never Ends is ~26,000 hours. I know he ate by swallowing small bites between breaths, but how did he sleep? Hmm....

They could be pro-monarchists or against voting rights or something.

Re: Random happiness
Or just terrible, immoral lawyers. Ehehe.
In other news, the greatest/most horrible thing ever has happened! There's a fresh brewed coffee machine on my floor now! It's really good too, not what I expected from a vending machine. In my opinion it's better than Tim Hortons coffee, and it only takes a loonie too! (That's a $1 Canadian coin, I belated realize I may need to explain). Anyway, this is horrible because I'm going to blow all my spare change on coffee now...
Must... delay... gratification... but... delicious... coffee... outside... my... door........ xP

Re: Random happiness
I'm pretty happy that I have met one Christian online who can have a discussion about it without going crazy on me, screaming at me to reform or whatever, and using all caps.

Re: Random happiness
That's excellent! It's important to have somebody you can talk to about spirituality. There's an excellent Imam (a Muslim priest/Rabbi) I know who's liberal and brilliant that I enjoy talking to. He's a family friend rather than the Imam who leads prayers at my mosque though. Ontario's a big province, and you end up knowing people all over it and rarely seeing them xD

Re: Random happiness
Absolutely. I never realized before how important it is. But it's nice to get different opinions, and to find someone who has similar beliefs as you, which I have found now, in the man living above us who's our landlord. He's brilliant. I loves him. And not just for the spiritual talk, he's pretty awesome in all his beliefs about life and people and such.Nayaby wrote:That's excellent!
