Hi you guys!

Aequus tipped me off to where you guys were hiding.

I don't know if you guys have heard about the game Cloudstone, but I think you guys would like it a lot. It's an RPG game and it's pretty much a spiritual successor of VPN Wars. It's developed by a company called Playsaurus, and all of the employees are former MG employees. It's a point and click type of game (like the Diablo series) and it has amazing artwork (think VPN meets Serf Wars). It has a tavern system like VPN did, so the community is super friendly. There are a lot of people from the VPN community as well.

I always have trouble deciding on these customization things. Currently my character is a black-skinned, purple-haired, green eyed lady, but that may change within seconds...

So, when faced with the choice between warrior, wizard, and monk, it's a difficult decision! But in the end, wizard won out because of the future move/skill called pyro penguin.

Cloudstone seems fun, but I really do not want to delve into any new RPGs before Diablo III comes out. :3 Blizzard fan all the way!

What the game really needs is an appearance tab. Working hard to get all the Forest gear, only to overlevel it is going to be quite a downer

I've been having difficultly collecting things for the gear, if you're talking about what I think you are. But my biggest problem is being stuck on the last two parts of sassafrass island. Keeping the fox safe and destroying that jelly monstrosity is impossible. I need bigger spells!

I'm talking about the Gauntlet challenges, not crafting. You get a special gear piece for beating all the difficulties of a level.

Play Gauntlets for extra experience, to make higher levels a bit easier.

Is there any? What's it like? References-references-references?

'Cause this seriously sounds like the game that might actually make me do a Facebook game...

Flavour text on items? There is some, but that's no reason to play a game. If you mean quest text, then yes there is quest accept and quest completed text. Not as many references as VPN, as far as I've seen, but it's a fun little RPG. Better than VPN, in that you actually control your character instead of simply clicking. You can choose the path of Warrior (Weapon + Shield; or two-handed Weapon), Wizard (Wand + Tome; or two-handed Staff), or Monk (cool brass knuckles and boxing glove type items).
